Our psychiatry clinic supports children, teens, and adults in Durango, Colorado with expert care—all from the comfort of your own home! • Academic pressure and social stress in Fort Lewis College students

  • Isolation and seasonal depression in rural and mountain communities

  • Parenting fatigue with limited access to child mental health providers

  • Emotional dysregulation in children often mistaken for behavioral issues

  • Stigmas around seeking help in self-reliant or traditional households

Knowing that mental wellbeing is not just about medications, I lead with a holistic mindset. I enjoy getting to know my patients, supporting their right they feel heard, and making sure that they feel as comfortable as possible with their treatment. I specialize in working with children, young adults, and trauma/PTSD.

We understand the mental health challenges of the Durango community

  • Students at Fort Lewis College and local high schools often experience performance anxiety, identity stress, and burnout, especially when balancing rigorous academics with social expectations or financial strain.

  • Living in or near rural or mountain areas can offer peace—but also loneliness, seasonal depression, and limited in-person support. For many, the physical distance becomes emotional too. Our virtual care bridges that gap with easy access to consistent support.

  • Durango parents wear many hats—caregivers, employees, community members—and often carry the emotional weight for everyone else. When your child is struggling or you feel depleted yourself, we’re here to help lighten the load.

  • What looks like misbehavior is often a sign of unmet emotional needs, trauma, or sensory overwhelm. We work with children and adolescents who may be struggling to express what they’re feeling, and we help families understand how to support them.

  • Durango’s strong values of independence and resilience are part of what make it special—but they can also create silence around mental health. We offer care that respects your values while gently opening space for healing, vulnerability, and growth.
