Colorado Psychiatric Treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Empowering Neurodivergent Minds with Care That Respects Who You Are.

Our psychiatry clinic offers compassionate, convenient psychiatric treatment for autism. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, exploring possible symptoms, or looking for a provider who truly sees you we’re here to help with care that is individualized, respectful, and neurodiversity-affirming.

At Summit Together Mental Health, we believe that autism is not something to “fix,” but something to understand, support, and celebrate. If you or your child is navigating their autism diagnosis and struggling with things like focus, anxiety, sensory overload, or emotional regulation, you’ve come to the right place.

What is Autism Spectrum Disorder?

Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference that affects how people communicate, interact, and experience the world around them. It’s called a “spectrum” because every autistic person is different—there is no single way autism looks, feels, or presents.

You or your child might experience:

  • Sensory sensitivities (to light, noise, textures, etc.)

  • Difficulty with transitions or changes in routine

  • Challenges with social cues or peer relationships

  • Strong interests or deep focus in specific topics

  • Trouble regulating emotions or managing outbursts

  • Co-occurring issues like anxiety, ADHD, or depression

Seeking support after a diagnosis can bring clarity and relief. Our goal is to help you understand what’s going on and provide tools that help you or your child thrive.

Still unsure if you want to start care? Visit our Contact Us page to schedule a free 20-minute phone consultation to introduce yourself and learn more about how we can support you.

Already ready? Submit a quick form (click here) that will outline your needs. We’ll reach out if you have any questions upon its review, otherwise we’ll then email you our onboarding paperwork and access to schedule your appointment!

We’ll meet you where you are in life. Whether it’s wanting an evaluation for mental health diagnoses, seeking a second opinion on your medications, looking for a new medical provider that hears you out, or even just wanting to look at options and not necessarily start medication management.

All appointments are virtual via HIPAA secure telehealth platforms and appointment frequency is personalized based on what we’re addressing or how comfortable you feel between sessions.
