Colorado Psychiatric Treatment for Psychotic Disorders
Mental Health Evaluations & Medication Management
Compassionate, Judgment-Free Care for Thinking, Perception, and Emotional Clarity.
Our psychiatry clinic offers compassionate, convenient psychiatric treatment for psychotic disorders. Our approach centers around safety, stability, and dignity because you deserve care that sees you for your whole self, not just your symptoms.
At Summit Together Mental Health, we know that experiencing a break from reality—whether through hallucinations, delusions, or intense confusion—can be frightening for both the person struggling and their loved ones. But you don’t have to face it alone.
What are Psychotic Disorders?
Psychotic disorders affect how a person perceives, thinks, and interprets reality. They may include hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that others don’t), delusions (fixed beliefs that aren’t based in reality), disorganized thinking, or paranoia. These symptoms are real, overwhelming, and often misunderstood. But they are also treatable.
You or your loved one might be experiencing:
Hearing voices or seeing things others don’t
Feeling intensely suspicious or fearful
Believing things that others strongly disagree with
Difficulty focusing, organizing thoughts, or communicating
Withdrawing from others or losing interest in daily life
A sudden or gradual shift in thinking or behavior
Whether symptoms have just started or have been ongoing, early, consistent care can make a powerful difference.
Types of Psychotic Conditions That We Support
We provide virtual psychiatric treatment for a range of psychotic disorders and related symptoms including:
-
Ongoing symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thoughts, and decreased emotional expression.
-
A combination of mood disorder symptoms (like depression or mania) and psychosis.
-
Short-term episodes of psychosis often triggered by trauma, extreme stress, or medical changes.
-
Sometimes psychotic symptoms occur alongside bipolar disorder or severe depression—we treat both.
-
Getting care early makes a big difference. We help teens and young adults get the support they need without stigma.
